The Regional History & Genealogy Collection can be found in the historic 1905 Carnegie Library which is located in the northwest corner of Penrose Library.

Paid Parking:
- Patrons will receive two hours of free parking each day by scanning a physical library card at the kiosks located near the main entrance of the upper lot and near the west entrance to the lower lot. Up to two additional hours of parking may be purchased at a time.
- Penrose paid parking is through parking kiosks in both the upper and lower lots that accept credit card and coin payment.
- Penrose paid parking is enforced 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday
- The rate is $1.50 per hour.
- The City of Colorado Springs enforces the meter compliance and writes tickets when in violation. PPLD has no authority to overturn a ticket that is issued by the city.
- Penrose campus has a no trespassing declaration from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
